2005 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution MR front

Mitsubishi is shifting focus to the only Lancers getting attention: the rally-ready Evolutions ("Evo" for short). The Lancer wagon dies after one year on the market and the LS sedan has been dropped, while the Evo adds a third model: the upscale MR Edition, complete with active center differential, 6-speed manual, and special black BBS wheels. There's also the normal Evo and the stripped-down Evo RS; all Evos have 276 horsepower this year.
