2007 Jaguar XK side

Though the 10-year-old XK was brought along in both 294-horsepower XK8 and supercharged 290-horsepower XKR form, the real attention was given to the upcoming 2007 model on the stands. It will have the same V8, now rounded up to 300 horsepower, and the biggest news is the adaption of the XJ sedan's all-aluminum construction, which should make it much lighter and responsive than the competing Lexus SC430, Cadillac XLR, BMW 6-series, or Mercedes SL. Like those cars, the XK will soon spawn a convertible to join the coupe.
