The non-acceptance of BMW's flame-surfaced styling on its roadster proves that it won't work anywhere. Get past the styling and you'll find the 3-series' stellar six-cylinder powertrains (as well as a unique optional 6-speed Sequential Manual Gearbox on the 3.0i) and traditional BMW handling, though the electric steering has drawn some complaints.
