2005 Scion tC front
As the only Scion that has any chance of succeeding with its intended audience, the swoopy tC debuted in June 2004 – the same time the Scion brand went national. It's not as extreme nor as lightweight as the Toyota Celica it sort of replaces, but with a civilized 2.4-liter, 160-horsepower engine from the Camry, it is more livable, and its back seat is useful. Standard equipment lists are noteworthy, Pioneer MP3 stereos will amaze anyone's ears, and a countless number of factory parts are available for customization. The tC stole the show on Scion's floor.
