Maserati Birdcage concept rear

Based on the chassis of the MC12 race car, the Birdcage, taking its name from a car last built in 1963, serves as Maserati's "blueprint for the supercar of the future." Two key points serve as means to that end: a 700+ horsepower V12 and a hyper-futuristic interior mostly overrun with advanced communication and entertainment technology by Motorola.
