Volvo's lineup of highly-related midline models starts with the S60, which offers 5-cylinder engines in four level of tune, three of them turbocharged. The upscale S80 sedan takes the second-strongest engine and adds a twin-turbo inline 6. The number 70 designates the wagons; the XC70 is the dressed-up one that thinks it's an SUV. Fastest of the bunch is the 300-horsepower, all-wheel-drive S60R.
