Ford Shelby GR-1 Concept front

Apparently the GT's 550 horsepower just won't do these days, so Ford bolted down a 6.4-liter V10 into the front engine bay of this concept to make 605. The Ford GT is scheduled to go away after 2006; could that be the GR-1's cue?
