2006 Lincoln Mark LT front.jpg
Lincoln intends its second attempt at selling an astronomically-priced Ford F-150 to go where no Blackwood has gone before: into the hands of consumers. This time, Lincoln took the much-more-popular F-150 crew cab (5.5-foot box, big back seat) instead of the shortest model. A big, chrome Navigator-style grille adorns the face and it rolls along on 20-inch chrome wheels. Ford's 300-horsepower 5.4-liter V8 beats away under the hood, and both 2WD and 4WD are available. Final prices get announced in January, preceding the springtime release. The target is around $40,000 instead of the Blackwood's $52,000.
