Lexus IS430 rear

Lexus has been punting around the idea of a BMW M3 fighter for a while, but it never came to be. With the IS300 entering its last year, it surely never will be until the next generation. Still, this flashy red-and-white racer was on display anyway, packing bright-red Brembo brakes and a 4.3-liter V8 from its bigger brothers. It's a tad disappointing that Lexus chose to follow Audi and Mercedes' shortcut of dropping a big engine into a little car, rather than putting some effort into tuning an existing engine like BMW.
