After adding V6 engines, 8-cylinder engines, all-wheel-drive, and diesels, Volkswagen is letting the Passat sit its last year out. The W8 is gone but the rest remains. It's still the most expensive non-brand-name family car. An all-new Passat is on schedule for 2006, reportedly packing the most power of any mid-size sedan.
