Having owned several BMWs in the past, the decision to purchase the 2012 BMW 1-Series was quite easy and required little thought. This time around I chose the convertible body type in the 128i configuration. I liked the fact that the 128i comes equipped with 17 inch wheels, 8 way control manual front seating and a lot of other features. One nice feature about the 10-speaker stereo system is that there is a connection for your iPod. In addition, I chose the upgraded alarm system and xenon headlights. This is an overall great car to drive with plenty of added features. The sport suspension, and sport seats really perk this car up. I even decided to splurge on the options and ordered the aerodynamic body kit. The 3.0 L engine seems to work perfectly in this particular model vehicle. The 6 speed manual transmission is fun to drive and extremely responsive. One new feature that adds to the stylish appearance of this car is the galvanized pearl gloss finish found on the door handles, As well as several knobs and steering wheel features. The car is as expected very quiet on the road and handles as well as every other BMW did I have ever owned in the past. One small drawback is the back seat that is generally uncomfortable and to small for an average sized adult. I highly recommend this superb vehicle to anyone looking for a great ride.
