The Z8 has body-colored bumpers in the front and rear, heated chrome power door mirrors, front fog lights, daytime running lights, a solar-reflective windshield, and tinted glass on the cabin. Audi offers a power convertible aluminum roof with lining and fixed rollover protection. The Z8 also features xenon headlights, neon turn signals and brake lights, a keyless entry system with an alarm, and a twin kidney grille with side gills.

Interior

The Z8 seats two passengers. Heated leather sport seats with height-adjustable head restraints highlight a full Nappa leather interior. The driver’s seat offers power adjustment. Pockets in the doors and bins on the seats provide easy storage. The dash features a starter button, a cell phone, a navigation system, a six-disc CD changer, and manual air-conditioning. The gauges sit logically arranged for easy readability and use. The 2001 BMW Z8 also features an exterior temperature gauge and a tire pressure monitoring system and power windows and locks.
