The 2008 Buick Lacrosse greatest feature is that it truly rides like a dream. It is roomy and comfortable; it seats five passengers with ease. It's a quiet ride, perfect for a family that needs a safe and dependable vehicle. The 18-inch wheels also makes for a great ride on any road. Compared to a Cadillac, this vehicle beats it on the smoothness of the ride and I didn't have to pay that much out of pocket. It also is a safe vehicle to drive in any weather; rain, sleet, or snow. The vehicle has a powerful V6 engine, some models come with a V8. It's very attractive, considering the leather wrapped steering wheel, and comes equipped with a state of the art XM Satellite Radio. Also, the sporty look makes it stand out over other Buick models. I really enjoy the remote start and dual climate control options are another feature that is perfect for a family. This is a traditional vehicle that is a really good value. The engine has active fuel management, so when cruising, the car automatically deactivates four cylinders to save me gas. Typically, you can get about 30 miles per gallon. I've heard different complaints about the handling on the V6 models and a noisy engine. This can probably be avoided with proper preventive maintenance. Also, the leg room in the back seat is limited, as I suggest the back seats three people comfortably. Some would say the back can seat four. Overall, this is a great car to purchase or rent for trips. I bought mine new when it was released and can't complain!
