Overview

The 1995 Buick Regal comes in six models with two body styles, two engine choices, and a four-speed automatic transmission. The Custom Coupe and Custom Sedan come with the 3.1-liter, V-6 engine and an available 3.8-liter as an option. All other models all come with the 3.8-liter, V-6 engine. One outstanding feature of this car is the driver and passenger temperature controls.

What's New

The new interior has dual airbags which are located in the revised instrument panel. The upholstery is all new and the exterior styling has been updated.

Exterior

All models come with tinted glass standard and moonroof option. The Custom Coupe, Custom Select Sedan, Custom Sedan, and Limited Sedan come with 15-inch wheels, while the Grand Sport Coupe and Grand Sport Sedan have 16-inch alloy wheels.

The Custom Select Sedan comes with a power antenna and power exterior mirrors standard. All models except the Custom Select Sedan come with the option of a roof rack.

Interior

All models come with air-conditioning, driver and passenger temperature controls, power windows, power lock doors, tilt steering wheel, and cloth upholstery. The Custom Coupe, Custom Select Sedan, Custom Sedan, and Limited Sedan have a split-bench seat in the front, while the Grand Sport has bucket seats. The Custom Coupe and Custom Sedan come with an AM/FM audio system standard and the other models all come with an AM/FM/Cassette audio system.

The Grand Sport Coupe also comes with a leather trimmed steering wheel and steering wheel audio controls. The Custom Select Sedan also comes with an overhead console and a power driver’s seat.

Performance & Handling

The 3.1-liter, V-6 engine on the Custom Coupe and Custom Sedan is capable of producing 160 horsepower and 185 lb-ft of torque. The 3.8-liter engine, which is the standard engine for the rest of the 2001 Buick Regal models, is capable of producing 170 horsepower and 225 lb-ft of torque. Power steering and cruise control are standard for all models.

Safety

Driver and passenger front airbags are standard, as are four-wheel Anti-lock Brake Systems. Other standard safety features include a lighted entry system, intermittent windshield wipers, and power door locks.

An anti-theft alarm system is standard on the Grand Sport Coupe. The Sedan models come with a rear window defroster and remote trunk release as standard safety features. The custom sedans also come with a keyless entry system standard.
