Maybe we all have this idea in our heads of what a Buick Regal looks like. There might be an image of helping your grandma or grandpa take groceries out of the trunk and into the house. There might be an image of a lowrider-type car that can bounce. Well, times they are a-changing and so is Buick's design for their 2012 Regal. My wife and I were in the market for a nice family car and she had this model growing up, so was keen on purchasing one for us. I, on the other hand, was not sold on the idea until I actually saw the new version. It is not sharp lines and angles like previous years. This one is more of a sleek and aerodynamic design, which I immediately liked. After some test driving and shopping around, we ended up getting one and I've found that I am enjoying our new ride quite a bit. I love the color (black onyx) and the car itself handles really well. On a somewhat shallow note, I really like the interior a lot. It's very modern and looks kind of space age-y, which is always a plus for a sci-fi buff. The 7' touch screen is a sweet bonus and I've been scolded a time or two for playing with the radio, just because I can! I've ridden in the back for a couple of road trips and I find it pretty roomy. It doesn't get great mileage in the city, which is where we use it most of the time.
