The DTS full size sedan, is the luxury flagship for the Cadillac brand, offering a spacious interior, smooth ride, and all the luxury appointments one would come to expect from a Cadillac.
A 275 horsepower 4.6 liter V8 powers the DTS, sending power to the rear wheels. A performance package is available with a sport-tuned version of that engine that produces 292 horses. The standard transmission is a 4-speed automatic with overdrive.
EPA mileage is 15 miles per gallon city with both engines, 23 highway on the standard engine. Opting for the performance V8 only loses 1 Mile per gallon on the highway.
In addition to the more powerful engine, the performance package also offers an 8 way-power driver's seat with memory settings for two drivers, triple zone climate control and 18 inch, 9 spoke wheels.
Base MSRP for the 2008 Cadillac DTS is $41,970. With full options, expect to pay around $50,000.
