Comments:

We bought or SRX when it had only 28,000 miles on it. Everything was great until it hit 60,000 miles( 10,000 miles after the warranty was out). The alternater went out. Then a few monthes later it started running real bad, turned out one of the catillatic converters guts had came loose and was clogging the exhaust. I had to gut the cats just to make drivable. I called the dealership and was told that because they had been modified i would have to buy new ones, otherwise they may have warranteed them. Now at 97,000 thousand miles and the timing chains need to be replaced due to the loud noice they have been making. Bottom line is that if the spark plugs that were installed at the factory can out last the alternater, catilitic converters and the timing chains[three of those]. Cadillac has lost all respect from me.
