The 2008 Cadillac SRX is a great vehicle in its category among crossover vehicles. It's a sleek crossover meant for families and can take a beating. It is not cheap so if price is a factor then you would want to stay away from it, as is the case with all Cadillacs. However, if it is in your price range and you are in need of a family vehicle but do not want the cumbersome size or low gas mileage of an SUV or van, go for it. For starters, it's a spacious car that is good for daily duties such as grocery shopping or carting the kids around. It provides the same amount of interior room that a minivan would provide but it will not burn as much gas. The best aspect of this vehicle is that you will still manage to pull off a classy look while driving a crossover which typically cannot pull this off. Maintenance on my 2008 Cadillac SRX has not been a problem at all. So far it has only had the regular annual maintenance that all cars require and it has not had any other problems to date. The vehicle also drives well and has a lot of power for a crossover. This can be attributed to its V-8 engine. I have no complaints about the car but I am aware that most people who are looking to spend a large amount on a Cadillac are not looking to buy the car for family use. As a result the car is not very popular compared to other Cadillacs and the company is dropping this particular line of vehicles.
