Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

  • Adequate Power
  • Handles Well

  • Not extraordinary

This is simply a cool car. It has a classy exterior, a classy interior, and mean mechanics. The STS is available in a V6 engine or V8 engine, the V8 model being an upgrade both mechanically and in interior features. The model I have is the V8 model. It's a luxury high-performance machine at an affordable price. The four-door sedan has massive front and backseat space, as you would expect from a Cadillac. It's a big car, but you wouldn't be able to tell from the exterior. The powerful 320 horsepower has the ability to roar and throw you back into your seat if you get frisky at the pedal. It comes in either all-wheel or a rear 2-wheel drivetrain, so you have the option if you want solid control or maneuverability. There really isn't much bad to say about the 2008 Cadillac STS, as it is very good at what it delivers. If you want a high performance street legal racecar, this isn't the car for you. If you want a top of the line luxury machine, then, also, this isn't the car for you. On the contrary if you want a powerful, classy, and classically cool car, then this is certainly the car for you. Priced very well, especially used with a couple thousand miles on it, you will definitely get your value out of this future classic.
