The Chevrolet Corvette is America's Sports Car icon, now in its sixth generation of evolution. The 2007 Corvette is a carryover from 2006 with two limited production models added, the Indy 500 Pace Car and the Ron Fellows ZO-6.
Three body styles are available: Convertible, targa coupe with removable roof panels, and ZO-6 coupe.
The 2007 Corvette can be had with either a 400 horsepower, six liter LS2 V8 in the Coupe and Convertible or a 505 horse, seven liter LS7 engine in the ZO-6. The Coupe and Convertible can be mated to either a six speed automatic transmission with paddle shifter or short-throw six speed manual. The ZO-6 only offers the six speed manual.
The 2007 Chevy Corvette is one of the fastest Corvettes ever with the coupe and convertible going from zero to sixty in just 4.2 seconds.
To harness all this power, Chevrolet includes traction and stability control, an active handling system and massive anti-lock disc brakes.
MSRP for the 2007 Corvette Coupe is $44,250. The convertible starts at $52,590 and the ZO-6 fetches $70,000 before options.
