I bought my Corvette new off of the lot a few months ago. I was worried I was spending a bit much on a car simply based on how much power output it had and flashy good looks, but boy was I WRONG. This thing will glue you to your seat if you put the pedal to the medal, but more impressively, it handles, looks and most importantly FEELS like a high end performance car should be. Granted, the gas mileage on this car was low (13 to 16 depending how aggressive you are) but at the cost it should come as no surprise. The responsive steering also comes a pleasant surprise considering how much power output this car has, and the propensity for past Chevys not to be as great. The grip on the tires is superior to other models of Chevys that I have driven, the Colorado, older Corvette models, and the Tahoe; this just blows them out of the water. If you're looking for a fast car with responsive steering, a suspension that can take most road imperfections in stride, a surprisingly comfortable ride, and the reliability that comes with being Chevy manufactured, all at the cost of some gas mileage, then this is absolutely the car for you.
