In a Nutshell
The 2011 Chevrolet Cruze is an all-new front-wheel drive compact sedan that comes in four trim levels, including the fuel saving Eco. Powered by either a 1.8-liter four-cylinder engine or a 1.4-liter turbocharged engine paired to either a six-speed manual or automatic transmission, the Cruze is 70.7 inches wide and 181 inches long, with a height of 51.8 inches and wheelbase that is 105 inches.

Boasting an elegant interior and modern styling, the Chevy Cruze is most notable for its good fuel economy in the 26 mpg / 36 mpg highway range. An eco-friendly configuration of the Cruze sports aerodynamic modifications, including a six speed manual transmission, a .4 inch lowered body, and lower grille shutters. Standard system equipment includes ten air bags, which help the Cruze achieve top safety scores.

New for 2011

For 2011, the Chevrolet Cruze compact sedan replaces the Cobalt in Chevy's lineup. With MacPherson strut/coil spring front suspension and z-link torsion beam rear, the Chevy Cruze is notable for its driving dynamics and secure handling. The optional turbocharged four engine is all new as well. The Cruze is designed to enhance Chevy's car reputation, with an upscale interior that is a step up from the Malibu.
