The 2007 Chevrolet Suburban is Chevy's roomiest SUV ever. It has been completely redesigned with new exterior styling, sharper driving feel, more power, improved fuel economy and improved interior refinement.
Two engines are offered, 5.3 liter 320 horsepower V-8 with Flex Fuel option and the 6.0 liter 366 horsepower V8. Both can be mated to a 4 speed automatic transmission with overdrive. Two wheel drive and four wheel drive are available.
Mileage ranges from 15 miles per gallon, city to 20, highway.
Standard features include 4-wheel anti-lock disc brakes, StabiliTrak, GM's OnStar and an input jack for an mp3 player.
Options include rearview camera system and head-curtain side airbags.
The Suburban can seat up to nine with lots of cargo space left over and can tow a trailer weighing up to 9,700 pounds.
Prices start at $37,000 and approach $50,000 as options are added.
