I bought my Tahoe not knowing what to expect, considering this was my first large SUV. With the exception of a few disappointments, overall this is a very solid and dependable SUV. For towing, this is one capable machine with ample power. In addition, there is generous room for several large adult passengers. Power is quit respectable with a robust 4.8-liter V8. I selected the LS trim level with a nice convenience package that includes leather interior and even OnStar. One very nice addition that I really enjoy is the Bluetooth connectivity. Make no mistake that the power delivered by the V8 engine is very good, but at a huge sacrifice to fuel economy. Let's face it, this a very large vehicle, and it drinks a ton of expensive gas. A really like the big SUV feel, but I am not so fond of the big price tag at the pump every time I stop for gas. The interior is very comfortable, and sits up very high off the road. It feels wonderful to drive this big solid SUV. Cargo space is very adequate and is very accommodating for hauling. With excellent towing capability, and a luxury ride, it is no wonder that so many people like this particular SUV as much as they do. I recommend the Chevrolet Tahoe to anyone looking for a powerful smooth driving vehicle, with one caution is that your gas bill will be quite high each month.
