The exterior styling of the 2008 Chrysler 300 remains essentially unchanged from 2007.
The 300's V6 engines are 190 horsepower 2.7 liter and a 250 horsepower 3.5 liter. The V8's offered include a 340 horsepower 5.7 liter and a massive 6.1 liter HEMI V8. The 3.7 liter is mated to a 4-speed automatic, while the other three engines are linked to 5-speed automatics.
Available trims are base, touring, limited, and SRT8. The base comes standard with 17 inch aluminum wheels, 4-wheel disc brakes, and tilt-telescoping steering wheel. The HEMI powered SRT8 comes with 20 inch wheels, performance tuned suspension and steering, and chrome-tipped dual exhaust.
Mileage ranges from 14 miles city in the SRT8 Hemi to 28 miles highway in the 2.7 liter V6.
Base MSRP is $24,495, while an optioned out SRT8 will cost over $40,000.
Chrysler's flagship sedan continues to turn heads and with the available hemi, the 2008 Chrysler 300 has the power to back up its bold design.
