Reviewed by Automotive on

Vehicle Overview

The 2013 Chrysler 300 luxury sedan lineup has been narrowed down for the new model year, offering eight models in three levels. The 300 is now powered by a standard 3.6-liter V-6 engine paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission and delivers 292 horsepower and an EPA-estimated 19/31 mpg city/highway.

Available in eight models--the standard 300, Mowtown Edition, C, C Luxury Series, C Varvatos Luxury Edition, C Varvatos Limited Edition, S, S Glacier, and SRT8--the Chrysler 300 offers a vehicle to fit into any lifestyle. The base model comes standard with automatic headlights, heated mirrors, keyless ignition and entry, leather upholstery, eight-way power driver seat, auto-dimming rearview mirror, compact touchscreen interface, Bluetooth phone and audio, and satellite radio. The 300C brings remote start, foglights, chrome exterior accents, LED cabin lighting, an upgraded Alpine audio system, navigation, power-adjustable steering wheel and petals, heated steering wheel, and heated rear seats.

For more luxury features, the 300C Luxury Edition offers a platinum chrome exterior trim, Sport mode with paddle shifters, leather-trimmed instrument panel and console, and a real wood trim. For those wanting a high-performance model, the SRT8 model offers the same luxury features of the 300C, but offers a high-performance V-8 engine, Brembo brakes, launch control, three-mode adjustable sport suspension, sport-tuned steering, front and rear parking sensors, rearview camera, and sport seats.

New for 2013

Special Edition models join the lineup as well, including a winter-themed Glacier model and a Motown-themed model designed by John Varvatos.
