Built on the Chrysler Sebring platform, the 2008 Avenger is an all-new sedan from Dodge designed to be a smaller alternative to the Charger.
Trims are SE, SXT, and the sporty R/T. Standard features include front and side curtain airbags, 60/40 folding split rear seat, front stabilizer bar, and a Chill-Zone storage bin that keep contents cool.
Engine options are the same as the Sebring: a 172 horsepower 2.4 liter 4-cylinder, a 186 horsepower 2.7 liter V6, and a 235 horsepower 3.5 liter 6. All engines are linked to a 4-speed automatic, while the R/T has a 6-speed automatic.
Mileage for the Avenger ranges from 16 miles per gallon city, to an impressive 30 miles per gallon highway.
