I would love to own one of these. The first Dodge Challenger came out in 1970. That's the year I was born. The car was discontinued in the mid 1970's and I was pleased to hear that Dodge was reintroducing it! I was so happy to see that so many of the styling cues from the original were being used for the new model. This is such a beautiful car. I would love to have one and I'm sure that one day I will. These cars are a wonderful way to remember the muscle cars of the late 1960's to early 1970's. A great combination of the style and power of the originals, yet with the convenience and luxuries of modern cars. I think that there should have been more options when it came to colors. I also believe that they should have allowed a choice of manual in regards to the transmission. I myself do not care for automatic transmissions. IMO, an option of a manual transmission would have brought more sales. Lack of a manual transmission would be my only complaint. The fact that it looks so much like the original model from 1970 is a real lure to us that have wanted one for so long. This car's stylings are iconic. The Challenger line needs a convertible to compete with Ford's Mustang and Chevrolet's Camaro which both feature a convertible model.
