Rain brake support and ready alert braking and hill start assist are also standard equipment.
The SXT trim level offers all of the features available in the SE model plus all-wheel drive (optional), an eight-speed automatic transmission with E-shift, heated exterior mirrors, fog lamps, an 8.4-inch Uconnect Touch radio, dual-zone temperature and humidity control, heated front seats, an eight-way power adjustable driver’s seat, and a leather-trimmed steering wheel and shift knob. Remote start comes standard, too.
The R/T trim level contains a 5.7-liter, 370 hp V-8 engine and all-wheel drive. It also includes all of the features available on the SXT, plus performance suspension and brakes, fog lamps, HID headlights, and an 8.4-inch Uconnect Touch radio. Thanks to its fuel saver technology, gas mileage reaches 25 mpg on the highway with the 5.7-liter engine.
The SRT8 trim level includes premium leather, 20-inch wheels with performance tires, hood scoop, performance-based steering, Brembo brakes and power adjustable pedals with memory, a navigation system, an upgraded stereo, a power tilt/telescoping steering wheel, a back-up camera, blind spot monitoring, and a forward collision warning system.

2008 re-introduced the SRT8 6.1-liter, 425 hp V-8 engine. Side curtain airbags, anti-lock brakes, and an electronic stability system with traction control offer enhanced safety on these models.
The 2009 model offers a V-6 engine and manual transmission. While the 2011 Dodge Charger houses a standard 305 hp V-6 engine, paired with either an automatic or manual transmission. Also in 2009, the SRT8 392 offered a 470 hp V-8 engine.
