Having just been able to take the Dodge Ram 1500 out for a test drive, I find it important to make a proper review. To start, I'll list some of the stats. The one I drove came with a 3.7L V-6 engine with 215 horsepower. For me, the monthly payments came out to $500; not too strenuous. What I loved most about the truck was the image and stability. Its design is perfect for intimidation; I drove this car into downtown Chicago for a weekend and I received many double takes. People are impressed by that famous grille on the front, complete with the trademark ram. I love it, and others love it too. Best of all, I didn't need a truck with tons of horsepower, I just wanted stability and safety. The Ram 1500 definitely provides that and more, with tons of airbags, traction control, and plenty of cushion. I also love the back; sometimes I'll put a sleeping bag in there and drive out to the country to look at the stars. What's bad about the truck is a very small complaint: the noise. Pick up the speed and you'll see for yourself that it can be quite loud on the streets. Of course, that's sort of the point about a truck; to be loud and make itself known.
