Pros
Cons
The 2009 Dodge Viper certainly looks sharp, and luckily, it handles even better. In its second to last year of production before a short hiatus, the Viper outperforms any other car in its class, such as the Chevrolet Corvette, Porsche 911, or Audi R8. Featuring pros such as a 0 to 60 time of 3.5 seconds, a six-speed manual transmission, and 600 horsepower, the Viper definitely packs a punch. This car is a blast to drive, and the recently reworked exhaust system reduces the heat in the cockpit for comfort, and increased the amount of noise made for fun! The ride is miraculously smooth, even on the bumpiest roads I've hardly felt a thing. The design is sleek, and the factory colors bright and attractive to the eye; this car turns heads! Unfortunately, a glaring con this car has is its less-than-spectacular fuel economy. Being a sports car and all, you can't expect much from Dodge in this sector, but its meager 22 miles to the gallon have recently begun to take their toll on my wallet as the price of gas skyrockets. All in all, I would certainly recommend it to a friend who could afford it and the precious gas it so happily guzzles.
