The most famous and fanatic Mustang tuner takes a stab at Ford's new horse and ends up finding a few more. Starting from the 300 of the Mustang GT, Saleen ups it to 325 on his own, 400 with the aid of a supercharger. The bad news is that he'll charge $38,000 and $45,000, respectively, for the extra-strength Mustangs when they hit all 150 Saleen-equipped Ford dealers in January 2005. An even-more-extreme S281E with 500+ HP and a convertible come at a later date.
