Why it's on the list: InsuranceNearing the bottom of the list is the Nissan Maxima, the only car on the list to only fall into one category. Fuel isn't an issue. Depreciation and used prices aren't an issue. Repairs and maintenance? Not a problem. However, the issue lies with the insurance costs. It is one of the most expensive cars on the list to insure, next to the Mitsubishi Eclipse Spyder and the Dodge Charger. Those cars are more fun, and if you're going to pay so much for insurance, you might as well get a car you'll have more fun driving around than the Nissan Maxima. The one thing that separates it from the other two is that it comes clean of all the other expenses, saving you money in the long run.
