2011 Top 10 Popular Used Cars You Should Avoid

Make sure you know what used cars to avoid.

By Rss | May 28, 2013
    • Many people get talked into a crappy used car when going to a dealership or used car lot. Want to make sure you don't make the wrong decision? IntelliChoice has identified the top ten used cars to avoid when shopping for a used vehicle. Each car has its reasons, including depreciation value, fuel costs, maintenance costs, price, insurance, and repairs. All vehicles below are 2011 models, and have ranked Below Average or Poor in IntelliChoice's Cost of Ownership calculations. Each car has a few reasons that make it less than desirable, but not every category impacts a chosen vehicle. Many only have two reasons why they are a car to avoid; others have three or four. Take a look at the list below, and if you are considering purchasing one of these cars, it may be time to start looking elsewhere for your next car. But who are we to stop you if it’s the car you really want. Just make sure to check the reasons why it made the list and consider if you're willing to fork out the big bucks for it.

Right...show more
