Top 10 Incentives for February 2013

The ten best cash deals available on select vehicles.

By | February 07, 2013
February is the month of love, and who doesn't love some cash back on the vehicle of their choice? We've gathered a list of the top cash incentive deals for the month, on cars ranging from the BMW 6 Series to the Chrysler 300, all of them 2013 models. Although there may have been better incentives out there, including financing and leasing options, our opinion is cash talks. Ranging from $1,500-$10,750 cash incentives, these are the cars we feel have an incentive appropriate for the vehicle it represents. Of course we could have included a POS with a $5,000 Customer Cash incentive, but if it's just a bargain on a lousy car, it's not worth it. We combed through every incentive offer to bring you the best possible deal. Check out what's being offered this month, but remember, many of these incentives expire at the end of the month.
  • 2013 Ford Focus Electric

    Learn More

$10,750 Cash Back on New Lease
    Expires 4/1/13
If you're looking for an electric vehicle to help beat the prices at the gas pump, you won't find one with a better incentive. Although this is part of a lease program associated with the Ford Credit Red Carpet Lease program, $10K is still $10K. With a city fuel efficiency rating of 110 mpge, the 2013 Ford Focus Electric is the most fuel-efficient car in its class. Starting at $37,995, this incentive is like getting a 25 percent discount, and you don't even have to buy the car at the end of the lease.

  • 2013 Nissan Maxima

    Learn More

    $3,500 Retail Cash
    Expires 2/28/13
Yes, this isn't nearly as much as the Ford Focus Electric, but the Nissan Maxima's $3,500 cash offer isn't something to snub. In order to get this offer, it can't be combined with any financing option lower than 2-percent, and it has to be financed through Nissan Motor Acceptance Corporation, but for $3,500, wouldn't you jump through those hoops? This "four-door sports car" delivers 290 horsepower, and with four driver-selectable modes, it's not only functional, but fun to drive as well. The 2013 Nissan Maxima gets you from point A to B in style that costs less than you would expect, with a base price of $33,270.

  • 2013 BMW 7 Series

    Learn More

    $3,500 Customer Cash
    Expires 2/28/13
Just like the 6 Series, the BMW 7 Series has the same incentive of $3,500 Customer Cash when financed through BMW. Known as the "driver's luxury car," the 7 Series now has an Eco Pro mode, which reduces emissions by 20 percent. With a new 3.0-liter Twinpower Turbo six-cylinder engine, the new attribute of the 7 Series is power. Coming with a starting price slightly lower than the 6 Series at $73,600, the $3,500 Customer Cash incentive is one to seriously consider.

  • 2013 GMC Sierra and Chevrolet Sliverado

    Learn More

    $3,000 Retail Cash
    Expires 2/28/13
With the 2014 Chevy Silverado and GMC Sierra introduced to the public at the Detroit Auto Show in January, the current, older trucks need as much enticement as possible to get buyers into the showroom. Although the cash incentive on the 2013 Silverado and Sierra models is lower than on the 2012 model, $3,000 is not a bad deal. With a base price of $29,590 for the Sierra and $23,590 for the Silverado, both trucks offer great performance for the price. The $3,000 cash incentive gives you a reason to spend a little extra on the newer model as it gives you the difference back.

  • 2013 Mazda6

    Learn More

    $3,000 Dealer Cash
    Expires 2/28/13
With the all-new 2014 Mazda6 coming soon, Mazda is clearing out the slow-selling predecessor. As an almost identical car to the Mazda Takeri concept, the 2014 Mazda6 has been redesigned with "soul." The previous model was a fine car, but the styling was off putting to some, and the car's external dimensions weren't reflected in its interior space. Still, with a price starting out at $21,725, having an extra $3,000 in your pocket at time of purchase doesn't sound so bad.

  • 2013 Chrysler 300 and Dodge Charger

    Learn More

    $2,500 Customer Cash
    Expires 2/28/13
Both the Chrysler 300 and Dodge Charger have a Customer Cash incentive of $2,500. Although they are virtually the same car--the 300 being more luxurious with a slightly different body--this type of incentive is sure to turn some heads. Whether you're looking for something sporty or luxurious, with this high of a cash incentive, you might not want to look any further if either of these is the car for you. Starting at $29,995 for the Chrysler 300 and $25,995 for the Dodge Charger, $2,500 makes a nice dent in the overall price, giving you the opportunity to purchase a car with great styling and performance, no matter which you choose.

  • 2013 Ford Explorer

    Learn More

    $2,000 Customer Cash
    Expires 2/28/13
The 2013 Ford Explorer meets virtually every requirement of a modern family hauler. It's big, comfortable, quiet on the road, packed with features, and even reasonably fuel efficient, considering its size. In fairness, some of us on staff think its exterior bulk doesn't quite match up with its interior size--read our review of the 2012 Ford Explorer for the whole story--but that hasn't stopped it from being one of the most popular vehicles in its segment. Credit good looks, plenty of cargo space, and incentives like the $2,000 cash currently offered for the 2013 Explorer.

  • 2013 Nissan Murano

    Learn More

    $2,000 Customer Cash
    Expires 2/28/13
Nissan is trying to push the sales of its 2013 Murano with this $2,000 incentive offer. Since there hasn't been a body change in a while, Nissan has to find a way to compete with the newer models like the Hyundai Santa Fe Sport, and the updated Ford Edge. However, the Murano is a vehicle with good cargo space, great fuel economy for its class, and a base price of $30,450. Throw an extra $2,000 in the mix and the 2013 Nissan Murano looks even better.

  • 2013 Ford Escape

    Learn More

    $1,500 Customer Cash
    Expires 4/1/13
Making the list yet again, The Ford Escape continues to push good incentives at buyers in hopes of raising sales. Apparently, it's working as Ford is offering $1,500 Customer Cash on all 2013 Escape models. Being a decent crossover already, this incentive is almost too good to pass up, considering the very reasonable base price of $20,865, compared to other vehicles in its class. It even took the title from the Honda CR-V as best seller in the class. Along with this accomplishment, the 2013 Ford Escape remains as one of Fords' top five selling vehicles. Who wouldn't want $1,500 cash on this crossover?

  • 2013 Buick Enclave

    Learn More

    $1,000 Customer Cash
    Expires 2/28/13
Bringing an end to our Top 10 Incentives list is the 2013 Buick Enclave. Sporting a redesign, the 2013 Enclave is turning heads as Buick's flagship crossover. The smooth, comfortable ride delivers a luxury experience, even with its V-6 engine that produces 288 horsepower. With an EPA estimated 16/22 mpg city highway, the Enclave even has good fuel economy for its class. The Enclave can take you anywhere you want to go, and has plenty of room for family, friends, and enough cargo space for any occasion. The added $1,000 on top of an already good car makes the deal that much sweeter.
