$4,500 Cash Incentive
Can a vehicle as large as the BMW X5 be fun to drive? Of course it can. But we probably wouldn't have learned that had it not been for BMW's foray into making its first "Sport Activity Vehicle." While there are several different engines offered in the BMW X5, from a turbocharged six-cylinder all the way up to a 555-horsepower, twin-turbocharged V-8, perhaps our favorite is the one that BMW's incentivizing: the popular 3.0-liter diesel. With a highway fuel economy of 26 mpg, it far surpasses any other X5 engine. Yet, other than a minor challenge finding a diesel pump, it offers no disadvantages compared to the gas versions. You'll even have a chance to apply for an eco-tax credit with the X5 diesel.
