2022 Fisker Ocean MODEL OVERVIEW

Fisker's back! And if you don't remember the gorgeous four-door Karma from the early 2010s, know this: The niche automaker returns in 2022 with an intriguing electric SUV.

How Much Will the 2022 Fisker Ocean Cost?

Fisker promises a base price of $37,499, before any rebates are factored in. There's also the Fisker Flexee Lease plan, which includes 30,000 miles of driving, regular maintenance, and insurance as part of your monthly payment. The automaker says that customers who lease an Ocean can return it at any time with no penalty. Go for the lease and you're looking at a starting price of $379 a month with $2,999 down.

Both options sound impressive, and we look forward to seeing whether Fisker can hold to these ambitious targets without increasing prices as the SUV is launched.

When Can I Get One?

The latest info has the 2022 Fisker Ocean arriving in the last quarter of the 2022 calendar year. The company says that reservation holders may get a chance to test drive the Ocean late in 2021.

Give Me Some Specs on This Electric SUV

The Fisker Ocean is a five-passenger SUV that will be available in RWD and AWD forms. Later on, a third-row seating option will be offered, as will a performance flagship model hitting 60 mph in just under 3 seconds, Fisker says. Twenty- and 22-inch wheels will be on the options list, with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto included. Range is estimated at 250 to 300 miles with a battery pack of at least 80 kWh, though it remains to be seen whether those numbers will hold up to EPA testing.

Recycled Interior Materials?

There's more to the 2022 Ocean's green credentials besides the fact that it's purely electric. There's the solar roof, recycled carpeting, and what Fisker calls a vegan interior.
