This year, the Ford F-150 comes in the new Eddie Bauer edition, a premium model with luxury additions. Other changes include optional privacy and sliding rear glass, and cab steps on two models. Aside from these minor changes, it is virtually identical to the 1994 models.
The 1995 Ford F-150 comes in either regular or extended cab lengths and is equipped with 15-inch wheels. The XLT and Eddie Bauer models feature chrome wheels and tinted glass. Side steps and two-tone paint also come standard on the Eddie Bauer model. The exterior design of the 1995 Ford F-150 is rugged yet sleek, offering a unique styling not seen in other trucks.
Standard interior features for the 1995 Ford F-150 vary by model. The Special features vinyl seating, power steering, and driver front airbag. The XL is equipped with cloth seating, AM audio system, and power steering. The XLT includes power windows and door locks, air-conditioning, and AM/FM/cassette audio system. The Eddie Bauer model includes the most standard features, adding cruise control, privacy glass, and leather steering wheel trim to the list.
Performance & Handling
Equipped with a standard 4.9-liter, V-6 engine, the Ford F-150 is a powerful vehicle. Handling and maneuvering are better than one might expect from a truck of its size. Two-wheel drive and four-wheel drive versions for all models are available, and an upgraded five-liter or 5.6-liter V-8 is optional as well.
Safety features for the Ford F-150 include driver front airbag and Anti-lock Brake Systems. Crash test ratings from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) are not currently available.
