My 2010 Ford Flex is an amazing vehicle. I have always been against those big, gas guzzling SUV's, but at the same time, I always had preffered their body style over sedans, trucks and hatch backs. This car provides the best of both worlds. It provided me with the looks and safety of an SUV while still be small enough to not drain my bank for gas. On top of having relatively good gas mileage, I chose the option to get the turbocharged engine, so I have speed as well as style. The gas mileage, compared to other vehicles it's size, is outstanding. My speedy Flex is slightly less economical than the regular version but the difference in gas is relatively minimal and I am one who enjoys being able to get moving quickly. This cross over is perfect for anyone, like me, who enjoys the SUV's styling, is not willing to give up performance, but does not want a gas guzzler. With the capability to seat seven passengers and still have room for luggage, the ford flex is a great family vehicle. There are many safety features including front, rear and third row head airbags, dual front side-mounted airbags, dusk sensing headlights, remote alarm system, traction control as well as many more. One of the main reasons for purchasing my Flex was because, at the time, my husband and I were planning on starting a family, and now, we have a ten month old son, and we wanted a car that we would feel safe in. With all the many safety features it provides, we never feel as if our family is in danger. For any one who has children, you know how important that is. The turbo charged V6 Ecoboost Ford Flex caught my attention instantly. Since I was young, I have always had a need for speed. When it came time to buy a car for my family, I thought that I was going to have to give my love of fast cars up. That was until I found out it had a turbo charged option. With the traction control, I never worry about spinning my tires and always know that I have the capabilities to get out of the way of a dangerous situation quickly. Then, of course, on the drives where I'm by myself, I can step on it and be pushed back into my seat with out any hesitation. This vehicle is a terrific purchase for any family that is looking for a safe, reliable, economic vehicle and at the same time still wants to be able a car with agility and speed.
