The all-new 2006 Accent, available only as a four-door sedan, is slightly bigger than the previous model and offers more safety equipment. It comes standard with ABS and six airbags. The car is powered by a new 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine with continuously variable valve timing for improved power and economy while lowering emissions. A five-speed manual is standard with a four-speed automatic optional. A/C, power windows, remote keyless entry, and other items are optional. The new Accent looks to be a worthy competitor in the small-sedan marketplace.
