Spycam: BMW 1 Series Coupe

This is the one we've been waiting for
2008 Bmw 1 Series Coupe Side View

Slotting between BMW's Mini and 3 Series is the rear-drive 1 Series, coming to the States in 2008. This is the one we've been waiting for, not the hatchbacks that've been on sale in Europe for three years. Likely U.S.-bound engines are the 265-horsepower, 3.0-liter six, plus 170- and 143-horsepower versions of the 2.0-liter four. Expect a convertible version to follow the coupe, and BMW is considering a two-seat coupe and possibly a roadster for future production.
