Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

  • Lots of Features
  • Adequate Power
  • Comfortable

  • Pricey Poor Value
  • Poor Gas Mileage

I just picked up a left over 2011 GMC Sierra 1500 Denali from my local dealer and I absolutely love it. I just came over from a Ford F-150 that I had for many years, and the two trucks really don't even compare. The interior is very well appointed and the wood trim looks good, unlike in many other vehicles today. It really feels like a luxury truck. The biggest drawback is the price when bought new, but the dealers seemed very willing to negotiate on the price. I love the navigation system as it is the first one that I have had in a vehicle. That combined with GMC's Onstar system makes for a winning combination. I haven't really been able to hit the target gas mileage so far, but I'm hoping after I break the car in I'll be able to. It rides great and feels smooth on the road, and is one of the most comfortable vehicles I have ever been in. It also has more than adequate power with the 6.2L motor. This thing really scoots! On top of everything, the Bose speaker system has a great sound to it. I had to fiddle with the settings at first, but once I reduced the treble through the equalizer I was able to find a sound that I was very happy with. I would definitely recommend this truck to a friend or family member who is looking for a more 'upscale' truck.
