Buyer's Guide

Honda

Honda has a reputation for building reliable, practical cars. Although Honda's focus is on cost-effective transportation, it also creates sporty models for driving enthusiasts, and hybrid or all-electric vehicles for environmentally conscious motorists.

Least Expensive: The Civic LX sedan is Honda's least expensive, along with the front-wheel-drive HR-V LX SUV. Both are priced in the $22,000 range.

Most Expensive: Only 600 units of the Civic Type R Limited Edition hatchback will be available in the U.S., each with a sticker of around $45,000 before the likely markup. Honda's most expensive SUV is the all-wheel-drive Pilot Touring, with a price also in the low-$45,000 range.
