I've always been a huge fan of Hondas. My first car was a Civic and since then I have only owned one non-Honda vehicle and that wasn't for very long. My most recent vehicle purchase was the 2010 CR-V. Now that I was supposedly an "adult" I figured I needed more space for transporting the family and hauling the occasional big-ticket item. And given that I wanted to stick with Honda, the CR-V seemed like the perfect fit. I have so few complaints about it that they are not even worth mentioning. Overall, I'm very pleased. When I first started doing research, I was very impressed by its gas efficiency. With mostly city and suburban driving I average around 25 miles per gallon. Considering that this is an SUV, I'm very happy with that. Fuel efficiency was actually my biggest reservation about getting it and the listed 21/28 mpg really put me at ease. Once I took a test drive I was totally sold on the car. The enjoyment of driving just a bit higher than I was used to in a sedan, was really nice. Most importantly, I knew that it would be reliable. So far, the only issue I've had with the car is having to get a few spots touched up for dings. But, I hardly think anyone but me can be blamed for my carelessness. My whole family really loves this car and I hope to hold on to it for many years to come.
