In high school, there was the popular group, the unpopular group, and then there was the group in the middle that neither stood out nor was completely disregarded; the 2010 Honda Pilot would fit the middle group. It has too much of a boxy look for my taste. In fact, to me, it resembles something I'd build from a box of Lego toys when I was a kid. One of the biggest cons is it's fuel economy. Another one of the cons is it's engine performance; the Pilot goes from 0 to 60 miles per hour in 9.7 seconds which makes it slower than some of it's competitors. In addition, the quality of the materials on the interior leave much to be desired. They simply look and feel cheap. You wouldn't expect this from a modern vehicle. Another major con is it's comfort. The seats are simply not cushioned enough for my tastes and the backseats are a bit small. If you tend to carry taller passengers, please consider other options, they will thank you for it. However, it's excellent crash rating makes it a safe vehicle and you should keep that in mind, especially if you tend to carry children. Another one of it's pros is it's smooth ride. It makes you feel like you're gliding on the highway due to it's smooth acceleration. It's navigation system is a huge plus and it's said to be one of the best around although it may take a while to get used to.
