The 2009 Hummer H2 is currently HUMMER's largest vehicle in its go-anywhere arsenal.
With a prominent, box-like military design that turns heads, the 2009 HUMMER H2 is a full-size SUV whose raw power and off-road capability are as impressive as its brawny design.
The H2 is available in conventional SUV form or the H2 SUT, which includes a small pickup truck bed. For 2009, the H2 gets the option of rear bucket seats and a powerplant that can run on E85 fuel.
The H2 is powered by a 6.2-liter V8 that puts out a trail-grinding 393 horsepower. A 6-speed, heavy-duty automatic transmission with overdrive sends power to full-time 4-wheel drive.
Fuel economy numbers for the H2 are not available, but tests by various automotive magazines and websites have averaged 10 to 12 miles per gallon overall.
Base MSRP for the 2009 HUMMER H2 is $61,585. An H2 with full options selected will top out at around $74,000. All H2's come with a 5 year, 100,000-mile power train warranty.
Now with its available rear bucket seats and flexfuel capability, the 2009 HUMMER H2 can carry its back-seat passengers in style, and do so while running on cleaner fuel.
