For a change, I wanted to trade in my Toyota Camry for a slightly used 2010 Hyundai Santa Fe. I had rented a Santa Fe before when my wife got a fender-bender on my other car, so that's how I got to know it. First of all, the style is great with a wood grain trim, leather seats, and even a radio control option on the steering wheel. The handing of the ride is very smooth. I had the GLS version with a V6 2.4 liter engine, which is good. One thing I did not even know was the Ipod charger on the console, whice is nice. There was a problem with the transmission, which was covered under Hyundai's warranty at the time. The actual warranty lasts longer than my Toyota's. Even though it looks nice, it seems Hyundai did not change much with the styling, but I really don't mind as long as the car itself works and the engine lasts. A friend of mine told me about the car's safety rating which was high due to the side and curtain airbags and something about electronic brake distribution along with rollover sensors. A plus for big families and little kids. Gas savers can't expect much with a 18-20 mpg, however the power of V6 should edge off a bit of the gloom of gas spending.
