The all-new 2020 Hyundai Sonata enters its eighth generation sporting a sharp new look inspired by the Le Fil Rouge concept. Compared to its predecessor, the 2020 model is an inch wider, 1.8 inches longer and 1.2 inches lower.
The 2020 Sonata's interior features a new layout with a large floating center touchscreen, push button gear selector, and a digital instrument cluster that may be offered only on higher grades. Expect the 2020 Hyundai Sonata to feature a new family of engines including a turbocharged four-cylinder option for those looking for more power. Hyundai's eight-speed automatic should return as the sole transmission option. A hybrid model will likely arrive after the gas-only models. Hyundai has also hinted that it may add a high performance N model to the Sonata lineup for the new generation.
