A few years ago, we decided that it was time to get a new car. Before buying, we did loads of research and went to a few different dealerships, driving competing crossover models. We have a couple kids and thought that getting a crossover would be a good idea because we did not want to get an SUV, but a sedan seemed kind of small. In the end, we settled on buying the Infiniti EX35. Fast forward a few years to now, and I can honestly say that buying the Infiniti was absolutely the right choice for us. In terms of the drive, it has plenty of pickup, it handles great, rides super-smoothly, and it is really comfortable and quiet. I drive this car to work every morning, dropping the kids off at school on the way, and it is an absolute pleasure. I have to confess that sometimes I drive it more like it was a sports car than a crossover when I am alone; this car is definitely up to the task! When we need to bring the kids to an event like football practice or when we go grocery shopping, the car proves that it has plenty of cargo room too. The only downside is that the back seat is a bit on the small side. Right now, the kids are young and they fit just fine, but once they become teenagers we might need to start thinking about that SUV. One other thing that is nice about this car is that it is less prevalent than something like the RX line of Lexus. Unlike with those, you can feel more like an individual and less like a bandwagon car owner.
