What's New

The 2005 Infiniti G35 has a new exterior styling. Some of the notable exterior additions include a new grille, hood, side sills, wheels, taillights, and bumpers. The V-6 engine fitted in the sedan is upgraded for performance. The power of the V-6 engine was increased to 280 from 260, and the torque was also increased from 260 lb-ft to 270 lb-ft. This increased performance of the V-6 engine is limited to G35 with automatic transmission. The G35 coupe and sedan models featuring manual transmission have also received some engine upgrades. The power of the V-6 engine has increased to 280 from 260.

G35 sedan models featuring sport suspension package are equipped with 18-inch wheels and drilled aluminum pedals. The console area is made of aluminum or wood trim and the instrument panel is completely redesigned to enhance functionality and accessibility.

The improvement in manual transmission of G35 has made the lower shifting easy. The year 2005 is also marked for debut of the Infiniti G35 sport version coupe that features firmer suspension for a comfortable ride. Nineteen-inch forged alloy wheels, limited-slip differential, and drilled aluminum pedals and more exciting features are standard in sport coupe that debuts in 2005. Furthermore, Nissan discontinued Brembo brakes on coupe models with manual shift transmission.
